The Internal Rhyme
End rhymes are obvious. Internal rhymes are where the real work happens. An internal rhyme — a rhyme that occurs within a line or between the middle of one line and any part of another — creates a hidden architecture that makes a verse feel inevitable without the listener knowing why.
